3PL Dispatch Position

Nationwide Freight Systems, a leading Third-Party Logistics Company based in Elgin, IL is looking for an energetic, motivated dispatcher to join our team. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Duties include booking loads and developing relationships with carriers, working alongside with clients and tracking loads to ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time.

Qualified candidate must have a college degree or equivalent Transportation/3PL experience. Three to five years’ experience in the 3PL  industry, specifically in Less Than Truckload (LTL). Excellent organizational, time management and negotiating skills. Demonstrate strong communication skills; be adaptable and possess problem solving skills. Must have working knowledge of most Microsoft programs, TMW, EDI, TMS Software and DAT.
